Light

I’ve always loved thinking about how light works but I had the most simple thought this morning while meditating that made so much sense.

In the meditation, my eyes were closed, just imagining myself as a bright white light.

It made me wonder.. if nobody had eyes, what would stop us from imaging ourselves to look like pure light?

And then I thought, but if all we are really ever looking at is light… (because that’s all our eyes process) are our bodies really made of anything but light?

And then everything I’d ever heard about us all being ‘light beings’ finally made sense.

Light almost transcends time and space. Light is the fastest thing we know, and without light there would be no sense of time. How can we take for granted something so significant in what we are?

TBC.

Sometimes I swear to God I am the only sane person in a world full of crazy people.

Everyone needs to get rid of the bullshit that keeps them down. The job they hate, their body insecurities, people in their lives who don’t make them happy and just generally a ‘poor me’ attitude.

We all feel unguided, lonely or sad for no reason. Take back control. TBC. You’re the one who decides the script of your life.

Nietzsche

Diejenigen, die tanzten wurden von denen für verrückt gehalten, die die Musik nicht hören konnten. (Those who danced were thought crazy by those who could not hear the music.)
